Make the most of the beautiful spring weather and play outdoors! Ride on a paddle-boat, play a few rounds of mini golf, plan a picnic at the park, or host a backyard barbecue—you can become a grilling guru with these tips and lots of Memorial Day recipes.

There are always local celebrations and family activities happening over Memorial Day weekend. Take your family to a parade, to a music or food festival, or to see fireworks light up the night sky for lots of holiday excitement.

Go to a nearby beach or escape for a few days to a holiday hotspot like Orlando, New York City, or Yellowstone National Park—whatever your family is into. If you can’t get away for long, then head to the zoo, visit local museums, or take a shopping trip for a day. And don’t forget to stop for ice cream!
