Ideas & Tips
Make Your Summer Vacation Dreams a Reality
It’s not too late to plan the summer vacation you’ve been pining after. Here are some ideas for perfect trips, no matter who’s coming along. Choose the fantasy trip that fits your travel style and your group.

Photo family Family Favorites
If the whole family is in tow, find a destination that’s a crowd pleaser for all. It doesn’t seem like an easy task, but there are some places that fit the bill. Theme parks like Disney World and
Six Flags provide entertainment and thrills for all ages, including rides that range from mild to extremely adventurous. Visit www.disneyworld.com or www.sixflags.com for details.

Or book a cruise—they have youth activities on-board to keep your kids busy and having fun while you create your own itinerary. You can lounge by the pool, go to the spa, or take aerobics classes. Plus, there’s cuisine for every palate.

Check out to find the cruise you want.

If you don’t want to fly, take your group on a road trip. Your kids can help pick a state on the map that you’ve never visited before, and they can also help plan out your activities. Avoid the high price of gas by booking a bus or train to your destination if you can.

To get some much needed alone time with your sweetie, book a night or two—or a week!—at a Bed and Breakfast. B&B’s are the more intimate alternatives to hotels, with personalized service, and of course, home cooked breakfast. Head to Vermont or Rhode Island for a cozy stay, or go somewhere local. For more B&B destinations nationwide, visit http://www.bedandbreakfast.com/.

If you want to be wined and dined in a tropical setting, book an all-inclusive resort stay in the Caribbean or the Dominican Republic. These conveniently packaged trips include accommodations and all of your meals, and some even include drinks and airfare. And these resorts have everything you need to relax and enjoy each other’s company. If he’s not much of a pool lounger, he can play some golf or go on a scuba diving excursion. Try www.sandals.com or www.beaches.com to find your resort vacation.

For a girls-only trip this summer with your friends, head to Las Vegas! Who says Sin City is just for the guys? There’s more than just the casinos—Vegas has tons of shows, restaurants, and shopping. Visit all the stylish, outlandish hotels, like the Bellagio, with its famous fountains, and the Paris Hotel with its very own Eiffel Tower and cafes. For more Vegas trip ideas, go to http://www.lasvegas.com/

You can also take a spa trip with your favorite ladies. Get refreshed and rejuvenated with massages, facials, manis, and pedis! Visit http://www.expedia.com/daily/theme/vacations/Golf-Spa.asp
for spa destinations around the world.
